Dr Huizhong Shen is Associate Professor in the Sydney School of Education and Social work，University of Sydney.His teaching and research cover a range of areas including developments in ELT，language teacher education，applied linguistics，cross-cultural pedagogy and technologyassisted language learning.He has supervised to completion many Ph D theses and had numerous publications in highly ranked academic journals.Major research projects he has led to completion include Digital resources and Australian role in China’s English education(funded by Australian Research Council)and Video-based teaching and learning of Chinese language and culture for Australian school students(funded by Australian Commonwealth Government).A regular keynote speaker at international language conferences，Dr Shen has also held a number of senior positions in the university and provided consultancy to different stakeholders on language curriculum，higher education and international collaboration.
