3.2 IgE levels markedly increased in animals after challenging
Levels of IgEin the serum of challenged guinea pigs were measured by ELISA.IgE was detected in 23 of the 30 samples(the other seven samples appeared hemolytic and were removed from the test).After challenge，IgE levels in the serum of animals in the model groups had increased approximately fourfold(Table2).
