3.1 Screen for garlic organosulfur compounds that induce autophagy
To determine the effectiveness of DAS，DATS，SAC，DADS and DTS(Figure 1A)in autophagy induction，autophagy in OSC-treated RAW264.7 cells was monitored by immunofluorescence staining of the autophagy marker protein LC3.LC3 is normally dispersed in the cytosol，but after the induction of autophagy，it is translocated to the autophagosome membrane，where it forms puncta［9］.Western blot analysis was also done to monitor the processing of LC3.These assays indicated that SAC，DADS and DTSincreased autophagosome formation in RAW264.7 cell lines and primary macrophages(Figure 2A-G).However，the number of autophagosomes in the DASand DATStreated groups was not significantly different from that in the control cells(Figure 1B，C).(https://www.daowen.com)
