具庚淑，现工作并居住于美国加州萨克拉门托。1985年获得芝加哥艺术学院艺术学士学位，1987年获得美国密西根克兰布鲁克艺术学院艺术硕士学位。1999年她应邀到美国奥马哈的Bemis 当代艺术中心做驻地艺术家。2002年荣获美国Vermont Studio Center 的奖项，2012年荣获美国Kala 艺术中心James Irvine奖项。在美国与韩国多次举办个展与群展。作品被多家美术馆收藏，包括美国波士顿美术馆、美国耶鲁大学美术馆等。
ABOUT SUPERVISORS
Koo Kyung Sook, resides in Sacremento, California, USA.Koo has bachelor degree of Fine Arts from School of the Art Institute of Chicago, USA in 1985 and master degree of Fine Arts from Cranbook Academy of Art, Michigan, USA in 1987.In 1999, Koo was invited to be residential artist for Centre of Modern Arts, Bemis,Omaha, USA.She also won prize from Vermont Studio Centre in 2002 and James Irvine Prize from Kala Arts Centre in 2012.In both USA and Korea, Koo has held individual exhibitions or group exhibitions several times.Her artwork was collected by wellknown gallery, such as Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Museum of Fine Arts, Yale University, etc.
