Preface

Compiled according to Personnel Training Program of Army Aviation Institute(Personnel Training Program for Foreign Military Helicopter Mechanics),this book can be used to teach and train foreign military trainees(avionic maintenance).

The book takes into consideration the features of foreign military trainees and puts emphasis on the vocational needs of mechanics.Beautifully illustrated and accurately explained,the book combines theory with practice.It mainly focuses on the check on all stations of Z-9 helicopters and introduces the main principles,sequence and key points in checking avionic devices in different stations,so that the trainees could consolidate theories,tamp practical skills and better fulfill their jobs.The main contents of this book include basic working principles,linking and controlling relations,main parameters and maintaining requirements of avionic devices on Z-9 helicopters.The book can also be used as a reference for mechanics of this type of helicopter.

The book falls into three chapters,summarizing the key points in exterior check,power-on check and special check on the helicopter.It is compiled by the instructors and interpreters for the foreign military training of Army Aviation Institute.We’d like to send our thanks to all units that use this type of helicopter for their guidance and cooperation.Our sincere thanks also go to the International Training Center and Department of Avionics and Armament Engineering for their great support.
