Regulations on Power-on Check

1.Permission must be obtained from the flight engineer before ground power supply and power-on check;

2.Make sure that all power-distribution panels are well covered,all switches of power-driven devices are at proper positions and battery voltage is higher than 24 volts before switching on power;

3.The GPU(ground power unit)can only be connected to or disconnected from the helicopter when the main switches of the helicopter are at OFF positions.Do not disconnect the main switches without the permission of the person(s)who is(are)conducting power-on check on board.

4.Supply of ground power and power-on check are prohibited when:

a.the helicopter is being refueled or defueled;

b.the power system is malfunctioning or the parts and components of the power system are under check or being disassembled/reassembled;

c.the helicopter or engine(s)is(are)being cleaned with gasoline;

d.pipes and accessories of the fuel system are being assembled/disassembled or there is any leakage in the fuel system;

e.voltage is not within normal range;

f.there is strong thunder and lightning nearby;

g.there is a possibility of short circuit;

h.power-driven devices are being disassembled.
