11.6.2 Collecting the Letter of Credit from the Advising Bank从通知行处拿回信用证
Once a need for a credit is specified in the contract,the importer requests his/her bank to issue the credit.The issuing bank issues the credit and transmits it to the advising bank which then advises you that the credit has arrived,and you go to the advising bank and collect it.The advising bank is the correspondent bank of the issuing bank in your country.Normally your bank is appointed as the advising bank for convenience.
