3.1 General Requirements
3.1.1 Engineering-geological investigation shall include basic geological conditions of project site and predominant engineering-geological issues,hydro-geological condition and assessment of corrosiveness of environmental water,and distribution,reserve and quality of natural building materials.(https://www.daowen.com)
3.1.2 In engineering geological investigation,the currently available topographical and geological data shall be collected and used.Priority should be given to geological survey,general prospecting and simple onsite testing as the investigation methods;while detailed prospecting may be used when necessary.To enhance comprehensive analysis of data,in the engineering geological appraisal,the methods of engineering geological analogy and empirical analysis may be applied.
