Chapter II　Regional Culture of Pu’er Tea

[Abstract]Pu’er tea is a special local product of Yunnan, with obvious regional cultural characteristics.The Ancient Tea-horse Road, the ancient six tea mountains, the new six tea mountains, the ancient tea trees, the ancient tea garden and other symbols have all left a strong impression from the perspective of regional culture of Pu’er tea.The Ancient Tea-horse Road is an important channel for transporting and trading tea and horses in the history of China.It has promoted the economic and trade development, cultural exchange and ethnic blending in Southwest China for more than 1,000 years.Tea mountains, trees and leaves have experienced ups and downs along with the trade course of Pu’er tea, forming an important regional cultural feature of Pu’er tea at present.
