普洱茶虽发源于云南，但普洱茶的品饮与收藏却发扬于广东省等东南沿海一带，尤其是中国香港。普洱茶不但作为香港居民的日常饮料，同时也通过中国香港大量出口到东南亚、欧洲及美洲各地，使香港地区成为普洱茶的推广地和集散地。

Wild tea tree communities in Gengma County: They are mainly distributed in virgin forest and secondary forest of Daqing Mountain Nature Reserve, Bangma Snow Mountain Nature Reserve in Daxing Township, and around Dalangba Reservoir in Manghong Township.The representative cultivated ancient tea gardens are Hunan Mountain Ancient Tea Garden in Manghong Township, Mangjian Ancient Tea Garden in Mengsa Town, Wengda Ancient Tea Garden and Dazhai Ancient Tea Garden in Mengjian Township.

Wild tea tree communities in Cangyuan County: They are mainly distributed in virgin forest and secondary forest with an altitude of 1,700-2,489 m of Fan'e Mountain, Manggao Mountain,Wokan Mountain and Daheishan at the junction of four towns of Shanjia, Nuoliang, Mengjiao and Mengdong.There are 200 mu of cultivated ancient tea gardens, among which the Papo Ancient Tea Garden is representative.
