商务英语词汇的书面性

商务文体属于正式文体，商务文本中常常使用一些表意清楚的书面词语。所谓的书面语指的就是“大词”，常见于商务合同文本、法律文件、条约、公函等，以显庄重、严肃。

冷僻用词代替日常用词。

例如：The Agreement shall automatically terminate upon the bankruptcy or insolvency of either of the parties hereto.（用 teminate 代替 end）(https://www.daowen.com)

复杂的介词短语代替口语化介词。例如：Cash in advance ties up the buyer’s capital prior to receipt of the goods or service.（用 prior to 代替 before）

比较常用的书面性介词短语有：with a view to（with the aim of），with respect to（concening），in line with according to），with reference to（about；in connection with），for the purpose of（for）等。
