Susan:You mean the head designer for the fashion house Chanel?
Jason:Yes,do you like him?
Susan:No,I don't like him.He is so cool and a little bit arrogant,I think.
Jason:But he is really a genius.He is a fashion designer,artist and photographer.Apart from being the head designer for the fashion house Chanel,he has his own label fashion house,as well as the Italian house Fendi.
Susan:Yes,He is really energetic and creative.But I still like someone more easygoing such as Anna Sui.
Jason:Why do you like her?
Susan:Anna Sui is also talented and creative.But she looks happy and sweet.I like her design very much.All those designs are full of girl's fancy dream.I am crazy about her.
Jason:Is she a Chinese emigrant?
Susan:Yes,Sui was born in Detroit,Michigan.She is a French⁃educated Chinese emigrant.By the time she was four years old,Sui knew she wanted to be a designer and then she tried to realize her dream.
Jason:Yes,I know she is one of the most celebrated names in fashion history and was named one of the“Top 5 Fashion Icons of the Decade”.
Susan:She is my role model.I want to become a fashion designer like her and try to realize my dream through my hard work.
Jason:Hope you succeed.Maybe someday you will become an icon in fashion industry.

Reporter: What's your opinion on fashion?
Marc Jacobs:There is such a huge audience for fashion,people really love it and there are so many options now.People express themselves through their clothes and take pleasure in having something that's rare.I don't see the future of fashion changing that much.
Reporter:What do you think the difference of style between Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs?
Marc Jacobs:Marc Jacobs is probably more of a reflection of me.My own collections are more personal and about my experiences,my connection to friends and New York.The Vuitton woman wants everything that she chooses to be identifiable and iconic.There are separations in my head.
Reporter:Someone says that you love attention.Do you think so?
Marc Jacobs:People laugh at me sometimes because they say I love attention,but that's the truth.I make absolutely no apologies for saying it.Ido love attention—Icertainly get hurt when people criticize me or say nasty things about me but ultimately I do like attention.
Reporter:What kind of life do you enjoy?
Marc Jacobs:Given a preference I like being around people who maybe have an interest in fashion but it's not their only interest.A healthy rich and beautiful life for me is someone who's interested in good art,food,wine,theatre and literature.
Reporter:Last year you were awarded the CFDA Lifetime Achievement award.What do you think of the award?
Marc Jacobs:I want to continue achieving—I hated the title of Lifetime Achievement—it seems so final.I am still doing what I am doing—I will still be achieving.As long as the passion and desire are there,there will always be an opportunity to try something new.
Reporter:What do you think about Chinese art?
Marc Jacobs:I don't know much about Chinese art but I am open to collaborating.
