Situation 3:On a memorial occasion

Cpt.Li:Are you telling me that three UN staffs died here？
Mr.Pompeo:More than that.I have been here for two years only.173 persons have died within this mission since its establishment.
Cpt.Li:China has seen a death toll of 18 since its first participation of UN peacekeeping operations in 1990.
Mr.Pompeo:I am sorry to hear that.But what is the main reason for the death？
Cpt.Li:Malaria，traffic accidents，malicious actions.The first Chinese officer died in peacekeeping is Maj.Du Zhaoyu in UNIFIL.He was killed by accidental gunfire at an OP.
Mr.Pompeo:Peacekeeping operations are facing more and more dangerous environment nowadays.By the end of March 31 2019，3842 peacekeepers lost their lives in different missions.251 died in the single year of 1993.In UNOSOM，114 UN workers have been killed since its beginning.
