Situation 3:Lunch break talk
Capt.Guay:Hi,Li.Glad to see you again! You are down in the mouth. What’s wrong?
Capt.Li:Hi,Guay.It is nothing serious, but there is a strange order from JLOC.
Capt.Guay:Yes?I am listening.
Capt.Li:Last week,FAO wanted us to deliver some water to Goma, and JLOC accepted that request. It is abnormal.
Capt.Guay:Well, your contingent runs around the whole mission, and has to deal with almost all units. At FHQ,there are JLOC,JOC,engineering warehouse,Fuel Cell,R&I,etc.
Capt.Li:And in all sectors, there are troops from various countries.
Capt.Guay:Let alone the election officers, local labors, media journalists, refugees. You are the only military transport contingent!
Capt.Li:It is a big challenge for us!Every convoy in the field has to be armed with an English interpreter,or at least the convoy head can speak English well.
Capt.Guay:I got it.You are running out of LAs.
Capt.Li:You are always a good helper! Can we send some contingent officers to your English class?
Capt.Guay:It’s a piece of cake!Bring me the list this afternoon.
