Looking Ahead

该部分是本单元的总体教学目标,主要基于阅读、词汇、语法、听说、写作和拓展阅读等方面进行描述。教师要充分理解目标在教学中的重要性,在思考单元目标的同时,更要考虑每节课的具体目标。首先理解aim, goal 和objective 以及它们之间的关系。

具体来讲,aim 是指英语课程标准所提出的总体发展要求,goal 是一学期或者一学年的要求,而objective 则是一个单元或者一节课的具体目标。从高一开始,教师就要引导学生关注高中三年英语学习的宏观和中观目标,在学习的过程中关注微观目标,培养学生的目标意识,促进学生通过目标监控和调整自己的学习,提高元认知策略,发展自主学习能力。
