Looking Ahead

该部分基于阅读、词汇、语法、听说、写作和拓展阅读等方面呈现本单元的总体教学目标。在进行各部分的学习时,教师还需要细化学习目标,以便更有针对性地开展教学活动,也利于课后有效地进行教学评价。首先需要了解何为教学目标,或称学习目标。

Learning objectives are also called instructional objectives or performance objectives. They are the statements that describe what students will be able to do once they successfully complete a lesson of instruction.

目标描述的是教学既定的结果,而不是过程。一节课是否有效是指学生学会了多少,而不是教师教了多少。所以,在进行各种不同课型的目标描述时,一定要使用具体的行为动词,一定要具体、可测量。以第一个阅读语篇A Violin and the Law 为例。

基于这几项目标,学生可以自己反思这节课的学习效果,帮助他们实现对自我学习的监控,逐步形成自主学习的能力。
