37.四种“人类”。man，mankind，human，human being
（1）man：人；人类；男人。一般以单数形式出现，其前不能加任何限定词，其相应的代词应是he，him，his，himself。如：
It is man that destroyed the environment.
是人类破坏了环境。
（2）mankind：人类；男性。前面不可加任何限定词，但可用形容词修饰。它是集合名词，可作单数或复数使用。作单数概念时，谓语要用单数，其相应的代词一般为it，its，itself。作复数概念时，谓语要用复数，其相应的代词是they，them，their，themselves。如：
Mankind is much cleverer than it was one thousand years ago.
人类比一千年前聪明多了。
（3）human：人；人类。强调“人群”。如：(https://www.daowen.com)
Humans have large brains.
人类有强大的大脑。
（4）human being：人；人类。强调“个人”。如：
I’m a human being.I can stand on my own feet.
我是人，我可以自立。
