（1）box：箱，盒子。通常指有盖的长方形的箱、盒或匣。如：
This is my pencil box.
这是我的铅笔盒。
（2）case：箱。多指运送、保管、整理用的箱子、盒子等容器。如：
He carried a case of wine.
他扛着一箱葡萄酒。
（3）chest：箱子。通常为有盖而坚固的大型箱柜。如：(https://www.daowen.com)
These medicine chest are very beautiful.
这些药柜真漂亮。
（4）suitcase：手提箱；衣箱。如：
Is this kind of suitcase made of cowhide?
这种手提箱是牛皮做的吗？
还有trunk指旅行用的大衣箱、皮箱，汽车后部的行李箱。
