◎Dou’s Qingshan Tomb
As a major historical and cultural site protected at the provincial level,Dou’s Qingshan Tomb is located at the place about 14km away from the seat of Wuyi County,Hengshui. It is the tomb of Dou Qing, the father of Dou Yifang, the queen of Emperor Wen of the Han Dynasty.Because Ancheng Marquis was conferred to Dou Qing by the imperial court of the Han Dynasty after his death,it is also known as “Ancheng Marquis’ Tomb” or commonly called “Qingzhong Mount” by local people.According to a local folk song,“Cangzhou Lion and Jingzhou Tower cannot compare with the soil mount of Wuyi.” According to records, the tomb was originally more than 30 zhang (a unit of length, equivalent to 3.33 meters) high and more than 1,000 steps (a Chinese unit of length, equivalent to about 1.67 meters) long.It could be seen dozens of miles away on a clear day.On the eve of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,Dou’s Qingshan Tomb was still quite large in size.On the southeast side of the slope is a platform with an ancient temple complex. There are a lot of locust, elm, pine and cypress trees in front of and behind the temple, and on the east and west sides of the temple.A grand temple fair is held in front of the temple on the 15th day of the first month, the eighth day of the third month, and the 23rd day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar,respectively.(https://www.daowen.com)
