◎Lyuxian Temple

Lyuxian Temple (also known as Lyu's Golden Millet Dream Temple),located in Huangliangmeng Village about 10 kilometers north of Handan,is a well-preserved Taoist architectural relic of Ming and Qing dynasties with a long history and a large scale and was built in accordance with the legendary novel The World Inside a Pillow by Shen Jiji of the Tang Dynasty. It can be inferred from Wang Shizhen's poem, which says “to remove mosses and read the tablet left in Tang Dynasty,” that the temple was built at the end of the Tang Dynasty at the latest. According to The County Annals of Handan, the temple was built in the Northern Song Dynasty, and rebuilt and expanded four times during the Ming and Qing dynasties. As the only temple in China with Dream Culture as its theme, the temple is now a protected cultural relic in Hebei Province and enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad.(https://www.daowen.com)
