1.Classification of Mobile Box-type Substation Vehicle
(1)Classified by automobile product.Classified according to Type Terms and Definitions forMotor Vehicles and Trailers(GB/T3730.1—2001),the mobile box-type substation vehicle belongs to the special work vehicle.Classified according to Terms Marks and Designation for Special Purpose Vehicles and Special Trailers(GB/T17350—2009),and the mobile box-type substation vehicle belongs to the box-type automobile.The mobile box-type substation vehicle is shown in Fig.4-17.
(2)Classified by vehicle configuration equipment.The mobile box-type substation vehicle is divided into basic type and extended type according to the vehicle configuration equipment.
①Basic type.The vehicle is used to carry out simpler power distribution lines and temporary power supply projects for cables.
②Extended type.The vehicle is used to carry out more complicated distribution lines and temporary power supply projects for cables.

2.Basic Structure of Mobile Box-type Substation Vehicle
A mobile box-type substation vehicle is mainly composed of a vehicle platform,an on-board device,an auxiliary system,etc.
(1)Vehicle platform.The vehicle platform includes a vehicle chassis,a vehicle body(compartment)structure,etc.,which is a transport carrier of the mobile box-type substation vehicle.
(2)On-board device.The on-board device is mainly composed of transformers,bypass load switches,bypass flexible cables,and low-voltage power distribution panels.
(3)Auxiliary systems.The auxiliary systems of the mobile box-type substation vehicle mainly include electrical,lighting,grounding,hydraulic,and safety protection systems.The internal structure of the mobile box-type substation vehicle is shown as Fig.4-18.The working diagram for bypass work of mobile box-type substation vehicle is shown in Fig.4-19.

3.Basic Function of Mobile Box-type Substation Vehicle
The mobile box-type substation vehicle should have the uninterrupted power supply capability for conveying and converting electric energy.The main functions are shown in Table 4-2.As technology advances and matures,new features can be added.
