The live working tools and instruments warehouse is located at the moisture-proof and well-ventilated place.If it is possible,it is better to place it at the first floor of the building,and the bottom layer shall be made into the 0.8～1.2m high overhead layer.The warehouse area shall be either specially designed as per the quantity and size of the tools,or designed as per the reference area provided in Table 8-1.In addition,please also pay attention to store by zones and provide the descriptions of partition mark,such as the voltage class,name of tools,specifications,and etc.The proportion of tools storage space and activity space shall be about 2:1.The internal space height of the warehouse shall be more than 3.0m.If the building height requirements cannot be satisfied,it shall be no less than 2.7m in general.The doors and windows shall be anti-theft,anti-dust and properly sealed.Meanwhile,they shall also be fireproof and damp-proof.The distance from the observation window to the ground shall be 1.0～1.2m.The window glass shall adopt the double-glass and the thickness for each layer of glass shall be no less than 8mm in general,so as to ensure the damp-proof and fireproof functions of the warehouse.

When the warehouse is decorated,the materials must adopt the dust-free,flame retardant,thermal insulation,damp-proof and non-toxic materials.The warehouse ground located on the first floor shall adopt the damp-proof wet insulation materials.Generally,the tools and instruments storage shelf shall be made from the stainless steel and other anti-rust materials.
The warehouse shall be provided with adequate firefighting devices.For the warehouse equipped with the automatic management system,the firefighting automatic alarming system is required.It is better to provide the independent power line for the warehouse,and the selection of line diameter shall consider the requirements of variable systems of the warehouse.The fire prevention requirements shall be satisfied.
Generally,the storage volume of the garage for the aerial devices with insulating arm shall be 1.5～2.0 times of the vehicle body.The top space shall be 0.5～1.0m,and the garage gate may adopt the thermal insulation and fireproof special garage gate which may adopt either the electric remote control method or the manual control method.
