Famous Peaks
天都峰：黄山世界地质公园世界级遗迹点，黄山三大主峰之一。位于玉屏峰南部，海拔1 810m。古称“群仙所都”，意为天上都会，峰体拔地摩天，险峭峻奇，是黄山群峰之中最雄伟壮观、最奇险的山峰。
Tiandu Peak：It is one of world-class geological sites in Huangshan Global Geopark. And it is one of the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain. The Tiandu peak is located in the south of Yuping peak. It’s 1 810 meters above sea level. The ancient name is“the capital of immortals”，meaning the capital of heavens. It is considered to be the most magnificent and most dangerous peak among the peaks of Huangshan.
光明顶：黄山三大主峰之一。位于黄山世界地质公园中部，黄山白云宾馆附近，海拔1 841m。此“光明顶”并非《倚天屠龙记》里的武林长争之地，而是黄山第二高峰，明代普门和尚曾在顶上创建大悲院，现在其遗址上建有黄山气象站。
Guangmingding Peak：It is one of the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain. It is located in the middle of Huangshan Global Geopark，near Huangshan Baiyun Hotel，1 841 meters above sea level. In the Ming Dynasty，the Pumen monk built Dabei temple in the top，and now there is Huangshan Weather Station on its site.
莲花峰：黄山世界地质公园世界级遗迹点，黄山三大主峰之一。位于玉屏楼风景区内，海拔1 873m。莲花峰俨若新莲初开，仰天怒放。明代吴怅曾有诗赞曰：“一种青莲吐绛霞，亭亭玉立净无瑕。遥看天际浮云卷，露出峰顶十丈花”。
Lianhua Peak：It is the highest peak of Huangshan Mountain. It’s 1 873 meters above sea level. It is one of the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain，located in the scenic area of Yupinglou. It is shaped like a newly opened lotus flower. Therefor，we call it lotus peak. In the Ming Dynasty，Wu Chang once had a poem and praises：“A kind of lotus spit cloud，which is pure and flawless. Looking at the sky and floating clouds，it revealing the huge flowers of the top”.
九龙峰：海拔1 510m，山内蕴藏着极其丰富的野生动植物资源，如南方红豆杉、银杏、香果树、香榧、云豹、黑麂、白颈长尾雉、黄山短尾猴等。
Nine Dragons Peak：It is 1 510 meters above sea level. There are abundant wild animals and plant resources in the mountain，such as southern Taxus chinensis，ginkgo，Emmenopterys Henryi Oliv，torreya，clouded leopard，black muntjac，white-necked long-tailed pheasant，and Huangshan short-tailed monkey.
鳌鱼峰：黄山三十六小峰之首，海拔1 773m，是一座粗粒似斑状花岗岩岭状山峰。因其山形像一条张嘴遨游的鳌鱼而得名，与岭脊上未完全风化的花岗岩石蛋，组成景点“鳌鱼驮金龟”。古人有诗云：“东海有巨鳌，何年飞到此。人行穿鱼腹，沾衣湿玉髓。”
Aoyu Peak：It is the first peak of 36 small peaks in Huangshan Mountain，1 773 meters above sea level. The constituent rock is coarse-grained porphyritic granite. Because the shape of the mountain like a kind of fish opening its mouth，it named“Aoyu Peak”.(https://www.daowen.com)
青鸾峰：位于天都峰东南，海拔1 589m。其组成岩石为第二期粗粒似斑状花岗岩，岩壁有疑似冰川擦痕。站在立马亭前眺望，它又酷似一匹腾空而立的战马，所以又名“立马峰”。
Qingluan Peak：It is located in the southeast of Tiandu peak，1 589 meters above sea level. The constituent rock is the secondstage coarse-grained porphyritic granite. There are suspected glacial scratches on the rock wall. Standing in front of Lima kiosk，it looks like a horse that stands in the air，so it is also known as“Lima Peak”.
双剪峰：当云雾从两峰之间流出，轻柔与静谧之中可以感受到动与静的结合之美。
Double Scissors Peak：When the clouds flow from the two peaks，you can feel the beauty of the combination of movement and static in the gentle and quiet.
钵盂峰：位于云谷寺西，青鸾峰东，峰腰与天都峰相连，为花岗岩堡状山峰。有黄山特有奇观“钵盂天障”。因峰顶浑圆，状如覆钵，故此得名。雍正年间詹事张鹏翀曾有诗描绘此峰曰：“谁家白足僧，作此天际想。高钵矗丛霄，烟云足供养。”
Boyu Peak：It is located in the west of Yungu temple and the east of Qingluan peak. Its mountain side connects with Tiandu peak. It is a peak in the shape of a castle. A poem by Zhang Pengchong，a famous counsellor of the Yongzheng emperor，once described this peak：“who is the white-footed monk，who thinks about the sky? High pot stands in the cloud，fog and cloud are enough to support.”
仙桃峰：在平天矼西端的群峰中，有一巨石似从天外飞来，故名“飞来石”，从棋石峰西麓眺望，见它上尖下圆，形若仙桃，故亦名“仙桃峰”。
Xiantao Peak：It is located in the western end of Pingtiangang peaks. There is a huge stone that flies from the sky，so the name is“Flying stone”. Looking out from the Qishi peak，it has a pointed top and round bottom. It shaped as a fairy peach，so it is also known as“Xiantao Peak”.
胜莲峰：在莲花峰西侧，海拔1 843m，是一座堡状山峰。
Shenglian Peak：It is located on the west side of Lianhua peak，1 843 meters above sea level. It is a castle-like peak.
