黄山世界地质公园植物荟萃、生灵共舞，散发着蓬勃生机。1 805种高等植物中，国家重点保护植物37 种。黄山植被覆盖率达98%，高耸的山体产生了植被的垂直分带性，太平、汤口为亚热带阔叶林带，往山上逐渐变化为阔叶与针叶混交林带、针叶林带。在地形的影响下，黄山形成了局部小气候，为野生动物的栖息繁衍提供了各自的生态环境。(https://www.daowen.com)

Huangshan Global Geopark is full of plants，life and vitality，which live together in harmony. Among the 1 805 higher plants，37 are national key protected plants. The vegetation coverage rate of Huangshan is 98%，and the towering mountain body produces vegetation vertical zoning. Taiping and Tangkou are subtropical broad-leaved forest belts，which gradually change into broad-leaved，coniferous mixed forest belts and coniferous forest belts. Under the influence of the terrain，Huangshan formed a local microclimate，providing the ecological environment for the habitat of wild animals.

黄山松生长于绝壁奇石的缝隙中，针叶短粗稠密，叶色绿，枝干曲生，树冠扁平。黄山松耐瘠薄、斗严寒，已然成为一种精神；其中树形俊美、伸手迎客的迎客松，更是黄山的标志性景观，是中国人好客的象征。黄山生态系统稳定平衡，不仅是生物繁衍的理想场所，也是大自然重要的基因宝库。

Huangshan pine（Pinus taiwanensis Hayata）grows in the gap of the cliffs，which the needles are short and thick，the leaves are green，the branches are urved，and the crowns are flat. Huangshan pine is resistant to barren and cold，and it has become a kind of spirit；among them，the tree shape is beautiful，and the welcoming pine is the symbolic landscape of Huangshan and the symbol of Chinese hospitality. Huangshan has a stable and balanced ecosystem，which is not only an ideal place for biological reproduction，but also an important gene treasure house of nature.
