藏酋猴：国家二级保护动物，又称“黄山短尾猴”，栖息地海拔高度1 500～2 500m，主要生活在高山深谷的阔叶林、针阔叶混交林或稀树多岩的地方。
Tibetan Macaque：It is also named“stump-tailed macaque”，is an endemic species in Huangshan，China. It is a class Ⅱprotected animal of China. The habitat is 1 500～2 500 meters above sea level in the valley of broad-leaved forest or coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest.
大鲵（娃娃鱼）：已列入《世界自然保护联盟》（IUCN）2004年濒危物种红色名录ver3.1，在中国属二类野生保护动物。主要生活在200～1 500m海拔水质清澈、水流湍急的溪流中。两栖动物，因其夜间的叫声犹如婴儿啼哭而得名。
Giant Salamander：It has been included in the 2004 red list of endangered species of the International Union for Conservation of Nature（IUCN）ver3.1. It is a type Ⅱprotected wild animal in China. It is a kind of precious wild amphibious animal living in fresh water. Because its nighttime cry is like a baby crying，it gets its Chinese name Wawayu.
黑麂：国家一级重点保护野生动物。黑麂毛呈褐棕色，头顶部和两角之间有一簇长达5～7cm的棕色冠毛。性格胆小怯懦，恐惧感强，大多在早晨和黄昏活动，白天常在大树下或在石洞中休息。
Black Muntjac：It is national first class protected wild animal in China. Black Muntjacs hair is brown with a cluster of 5～7 centimeters long brown caps between the top of the head and the two antlers. They are timid and have a strong sense of fear. Most of them are active in the morning and evening. They often rest under the trees or in the caves during the day.
白颈长尾雉：国家一级保护动物。俗称“长尾野鸡”，又叫“地鸡”。身体大小近似野鸡，但尾羽极长。雄鸟的尾羽长约1.2～2.0m，羽色绚丽。终年栖息在海拔500～1 000m的山地稀疏阔叶林中。主要以植物叶、茎、芽、花、果实、种子和农作物等植物性食物为食，也吃昆虫等动物性食物。
White-necked Pheasant：It is national first class protected wild animal in China. It is also called the long-tailed pheasant because of its long tail. The male’s tail feathers are about 1.2～2.0 meters long，and the feathers are beautiful. It perches in the sparse broad-leaved forest in the mountains at an altitude of 500～1 000 meters all the year round.
云豹：国家一级保护动物，数量稀少。喜夜间活动，善爬树，常从树上跃下捕食猴、鸟、鼠、野兔、小鹿等小型动物，偶尔偷吃鸡、鸭等家禽。
Clouded Leopard：It is national first class protected wild animal in China. At night，it is good at climbing trees. It often jumps from trees to catch small mammals such as monkeys，birds，rats，hares，and deers，and occasionally steals chickens，ducks and other poultry. It is sparsely populated.

灯笼树（Enkianthus chinensis Franch）：杜鹃花科，枝叶扶疏，叶簇生枝顶，形似一串串灯笼垂挂在枝梢。生长于黄山海拔1 200m以上的灌丛或杂木林中。
Enkianthus chinensis Franch：Rhododendron，with branches and leaves，and clusters of branches. It shapes like a string of lanterns hanging on the branches and grows in shrubs or mixed forests above 1 200 meters altitude in Huangshan.
黄山杜鹃（Rhododendron anhweiense Wils）：又名安徽杜鹃，杜鹃花科，高可达6m，被誉为“花中西施”，是安徽省级重点保护植物，是黄山松的主要伴生树种。
Rhododendron anhweiense Wils：It also names Anhui Rhododendron，Rhododendron，up to 6 meters high，and known as“Beauty Xishi of the Flowers”. It’s a provincial-level key protected plant in Anhui Province and the main associated tree species of Pinus taiwanensis.
南方红豆杉（Taxus chinensis var. mairei）：国家一级重点保护野生植物，为优良珍贵树种，红豆杉科，其主根不明显,侧根发达，是世界上公认濒临灭绝的天然珍稀抗癌植物，在地球上已有250万年的历史。
Taxus chinensis var. mairei：It is national first class protected wild plant，Taxaceae，its main root is not obvious，and its lateral roots are developed. It is recognized as a rare anti-cancer plant in the world. It has a history of 2.5 million years on earth.(https://www.daowen.com)
黄山菊［Dendranthema zawadskii （Herb.） Tzvel］：菊科，高15～50cm，茎略带紫红色，花期8～10月份。为黄山高海拔地带裸露地常见地被植物，有水土保持功能。本种是我国植物学家林镕于1935年鉴定发表。
Dendranthema Zawadskii （Herb.） Tzvel：Asteraceae，
15～50 centimeters high，with a purplish red stem and flowering period from August to October. It is a common ground cover plant in the exposed area of Huangshan high altitude，with soil and water conservation function.
黄山龙胆（Gentiana delicata Hance）：又名华东异蕊龙胆，龙胆科，高5～20cm。茎直立，紫红色，常见于黄山海拔1 300m 以上山坡林下及草丛中。
Gentiana delicata Hance：It is also known as East China genus gentian with 5～20 centimeters high. It stems erect and purplish red，common in the mountain slopes and grasses above 1 300 meters altitude in Huangshan.
黄山蔷薇（Rosa sertata Rolfe）：蔷薇科，高1～2m，叶呈卵状椭圆形，花呈粉红色或玫瑰色，花朵艳丽芳香，秋季满树红果悬挂，颇为美丽。本种1964年由复旦大学生物系徐炳生教授在《黄山植物的研究》之“黄山植物志资料”中发表为黄山蔷薇。
Rosa sertata Rolfe：Rosaceae with 1～2 meters high，the leaves are oval-shaped and the flowers are pink or rosy. The flowers are bright and aromatic，and the autumn trees are full of red fruit hanging and quite beautiful.
黄山鼠尾草（Saluia chienii Stib）：唇形科鼠尾草属多年生草本植物，高20～45cm，茎直立，花呈紫红色，多见于海拔620～1 600m疏林下、山坡草丛中及山路旁。
Saurua chienii Stib：It’s a perennial herb of the genus Salvia，20～45 centimeters high，with stems erect and flowers purple-red. It’s more common in the 620～1 600 meters above sea level，hillside grass and mountain roadside.
木莲［Manglietia fordiana（Hemsl）Oliv］：木兰科，叶革质，5月上旬琼花绽放，花形似莲花，其中最大的两株被列入安徽古树。一株在前山黄山干部疗养院，树高18m，树龄约500年；另一株在后山松谷庵大门侧，树高15m，树龄约400年。
Manglietia fordiana（Hemsl）Oliv：Magnoliaceae，with leaves leathery. In early May，the flower blooms，the top of the flower is solitary，white，and is shaped like a lotus，hence the name“Mulian”. The two largest are listed as ancient trees of Anhui Province.
四照花［Dendrobenthamia japonica（DC.）Fang var.chinensis（Osborn）Fang］：又名山荔枝，山茱萸科，初夏开花，乳白色长卵形，长达6～8cm。盛开时节，犹如白鸽展翅于树冠枝头，秋果红艳，形似荔枝。
Dendrobenthamia japonica（DC.）Fang var.chinensis（Osborn）Fang：It is also known as hawthorn，and flowering in early summer with milky white long oval，up to 6～8 centimeters. In full bloom，it is like a white dove spreading its wings on a canopy branch，and the autumn fruit is red and shaped like lychee.
紫藤［Wisteria sinensis（Sims）Sweet］：蝶形花科。紫藤是我国著名的观花藤本植物，老干盘错扭绕，宛如蛟龙翻腾，春末开花，喷紫吐粉，惹人喜爱。
Wisteria sinensis（Sims）Sweet：It’s papilionaceae and is a famous flowering vine in China. The old trunk is twisted like a dragon，and it blooms in the late spring in purple and pink，and it is fascinating.
