The course specific aims,which are consistent with the University’s statement of purpose,are to:

· Facilitate the professional development of the student and lay the foundations for a successful career in Accounting and Finance.
· Promote accountability and the need for individuals to act ethically in the business environment.
促进责任感和个人在商业环境中的道德行为。
· Encourage the development of wider process skills such as written and oral communications skills,IT skills,problem solving and team working skills.
鼓励发展更广泛的流程性技能,如书面和口头沟通技能、IT技能、解决问题的技能和团队工作技能。
· Encourage the development of an enquiring,analytical,open minded and creative approach and foster independent judgement,critical self awareness,ability to reflect,and an appreciation of the wider context of the course of study.

Aim s of Stage 1
1.第一阶段(大一)目标
Stage 1 aims to enable the student to develop a basic knowledge and understanding of the core business disciplines of accounting,finance,economics,management and law.Students will have the skills to perform a basic analysis of the business environment and assess the interaction of these disciplines,draw appropriate conclusions and effectively communicate the results using written,oral and graphical means.Students will develop the basic knowledge and understanding of the academic,technical and professional elements of core business disciplines.
第一阶段(大一)旨在培养学生对会计、金融、经济学、管理和法律等商业核心学科的基本知识和理解。学生将具备对商业环境进行基本分析的技能,并评估这些学科之间的相互作用,得出适当的结论并使用书面、口头和图形等手段对结果进行有效的沟通。培养学生对商业核心学科的学术、技术和专业要素具备基本知识和理解。

2.第二阶段(大二)目标
Stage 2 aims to further develop knowledge and understanding of the core academic,technical,legal and professional elements in the fields of financial accounting,management accounting,business finance and law and to develop knowledge and skills in data analytics and entrepreneurship.Students will work competently and confidently within their chosen field of accounting and finance;develop an awareness of the political,social and economic environment influencing accountancy and develop critical awareness and communication skills.
第二阶段(大二)旨在进一步培养学生在财务会计、管理会计、企业财务、法律等领域学术、技术、法律和专业方面的核心要素的知识和理解;培养学生数据分析及创业方面的知识和技能。学生在其选定的会计和金融领域中能够胜任工作并且自信地工作; 培养学生对影响会计工作的政治、社会和经济环境的意识,并培养其批判意识和沟通技巧。
Aim s of Stage 3 (Placement Route)
3.第三阶段(大三)目标(实习路线)
This Stage 3 route aims to enable the student to apply their knowledge and understanding of business disciplines and personal transferable skills in an accounting and finance environment.The student can demonstrate technical and learning skills,staff relations skills,planning and organisational skills,personal and professional skills and communication skills;recognise their own strengths and weaknesses as a potential accountant;develop an understanding of the organization in which they are placed and critically evaluate the factors which affect its performance;and can apply the theories,models,concepts and principles which they learned in Stage 1 and 2 to the workplace.
第三阶(大三)段实习课程旨在培养学生在会计和金融环境中运用他们对商业学科的知识和理解以及个人可迁移技能。学生能够展示其技术和学习技能、员工关系技能、计划和组织技能、个人和专业技能以及沟通技能; 认识到自己作为潜在会计师的优势和劣势;了解他们实习所在的组织,批判性地评估影响组织绩效的因素; 能够将他们在第一阶段(大一)和第二阶段(大二)所学到的理论、模型、概念和原理应用于工作场所。
Aims of Stage 3 (Taught Routes)

The aim for students who undertake a taught route in Stage 3 is to further develop their knowledge and understanding by studying areas relevant to accounting and business;to develop a facility for critical thought,problem solving and independent learning;to develop and to demonstrate an enquiring,analytical and creative approach to the subject areas studied.The student will also have the opportunity to develop key employability skills such as team working,presentation,communication,leadership and problem solving.For students who have progressed from Stage 2 of the course an opportunity to study abroad with a partner University for both semesters may be available.
为第三阶段(大三)选择教学路线的学生制定的目标是通过研究会计和商业相关领域,进一步培养学生的知识和理解; 培养批判性思维、解决问题和独立学习的能力; 培养和展示所研究学科领域的探究性、分析性和创造性的方法。学生还将有机会发展关键的就业技能,如团队合作、演讲、沟通、领导力和解决问题的能力。对于本专业从第二阶段(大二)课程升上来的学生,有机会到海外合作大学留学两个学期。

5.第四阶段(大四)目标
Stage 4 aims to enable students to demonstrate a further depth of expertise and detailed knowledge of areas relevant to a career in accounting and finance;further develop an ability to analyse and critically appraise problems;demonstrate an adaptability for future employment in the accounting profession and industry and demonstrate an ability to undertake research and extended self study.
第四阶(大四)段的目标是使学生展现他们在会计和金融职场相关领域具备深厚的专业经验和具体知识; 进一步培养分析问题和批判性评估问题的能力;展示对未来会计专业和行业的就业适应能力,并证明有进行研究和拓展自学的能力。
