A ccording to the statistics of the Archaeology Institute in Jinan, there are 46 historic personalities’ residences in the history of Jinan.Up to now, only ten residences remain.Without protection and sustainable development efforts, these precious legacies will gradually lose their authenticity and eventually disappear under the impact of urbanization.Therefore, analyzing the characteristics of historic personalities, the history and status of their residences, and formulating feasible protection and development strategies accordingly are effective ways for these residences to be preserved in good condition and at the same time maximizing their social, economic and cultural values.
