Ground BIT of CSAS

Switch on the CSAS when:

(1)Failure warning flag of the gyro horizon retracts and three channel failure indicators(amber)of Lane 1 extinguish;

(2)Alignment of INS is completed and three channel failure indicators(amber)of Lane 2 extinguish;

(3)There is no light on the console;

(4)Inverters 1 and 2 and cyclic trim are switched on,with the switch of emergency hydraulic pump set to“TEST”position.

(1)Switch on Lane 1 and Lane 2;set BIT switch to“RUN”position to activate the built-in test of the CSAS.(https://www.daowen.com)

(2)Terminate the built-in test when“0”is displayed on the 7-digit display.When all the needles of the actuator position indicators go back to neutral positions,disconnect Lane 1 and Lane 2 simultaneously,and switch off the emergency hydraulic pump and cyclic trim.

Precautions in Ground BIT:

(1)Hydraulic oil must be supplied to the transmission system in ground BIT.

(2)BIT can’t be interrupted.

(3)The CSAS can only be switched off when all the needles of the actuator position indicators go back to neutral positions.

(4)Switch off the CSAS first,then the hydraulic system.

(5)BIT is not allowed in the air.
