1.Equipment Needed
An avometer,insulating sealant and insulating varnish.
2.Preparations
·Jack the helicopter.
·Remove the door of landing gear bay(if any).
3.Adjustment on Microswitches
·Check if the shock-absorbing leg is fully extended.
·Loosen and remove 3 bolts(2)from the mounting base(1)to facilitate removal of the cover(4).
·Disconnect the cable plug of the microswitch.
·Connect the avometer to the socket(binding posts A and B).
·Loosen the locking nut(5).
·Rotate the screw(6)to identify the disconnecting points A and C of the microswitch.
·Rotate the screw(6)for 1 or 1.5 round(s)to leave proper clearance.
·Hold the screw(6)and fasten the locking nut(5).
·Drip a drop of varnish on the locking nut.
·Well position the cover(4)on the mounting base(1);fix the cover with 3 bolts(2)and 3 gaskets(3)whose threads have been applied with insulating sealant;lock the bolts and nuts of the microswitch with locking wires.
·Disconnect the avometer from the socket and reconnect the cable plug of the microswitch with the mechanism.
4.Finishing Touches
·Re-install the door of the landing gear bay(if any).
·Lower the helicopter down onto the ground.
