1.4.5 Shipping the Cargo发送货物

Cargoes are mostly shipped via ocean shipping, even though air shipping and railway shipping volumes are on the rise. You normally authorize this task to a freight forwarder. On behalf of you,the forwarder books the shipping space on a vessel or charters a ship if you need the space of an entire ship.Once your cargo is loaded, the carrier or its agent issues you a document as proof of its receipt of the cargo and contract of carriage, which could be a “bill of lading”or other transport documents that is forwarded to you by the forwarder. And you send it,via other parties when necessary,to the consignee for him/her to take delivery.
