Road transport,with the biggest advantage of being flexible,can also be used both for domestic and international shipping.For example,it can be used for delivering goods between warehouses and sea port/airport or railway stations,or between neighboring countries,including those within a trade bloc,such as neighboring countries in the European Union.According to Eurostat,road transport is often the most flexible and common mode of transporting goods within the EU,as there is an extensive motorway network for a seamless transition when crossing national borders.However,shipping by road is also dependent on the infrastructure of the countries in question,but a big plus is its door-to-door service,making it accessible to rural or remote areas.
