A bill of exchange usually involves 3 major parties:

Drawer:the party who issues the bill.In international trade,normally the exporter draws a bill.

Drawee(Payer):the party to whom the bill is addressed,or the payer.In international trade,a drawee is often the importer or the importer’s bank.

Payee:the party who is to receive the money.In international trade,a payee can be the exporter,or someone nominated by the exporter,or the exporter’s bank.
