10.1.2　Indispensable Elements要素

Even though there is no uniform format for a bill of exchange either domestically or internationally,the following items are generally indispensable(see Figure 10-1):

♦the term “bill of exchange”or “draft”,

♦an unconditional order to pay a sum certain in money,

♦name of the party who is to pay(drawee or payer),

♦time of payment,

♦person to whom or to whose order payment is to be made(payee),

♦date and place of issue,and

♦signature of the party who issues the bill(drawer).
