13.1.2.13　Beneficiary certification受益人证明

The beneficiary certification is a document under a letter of credit,as the exporter is normally referred to as the “beneficiary”under an L/C.With other payment arrangements,however,the similar document is called a “supplier declaration”.It is used mainly on occasions where the importer has certain special requirements that are difficult or unable to be attested to with official documents which necessitates the exporter’s guarantee to take on some or some possible obligations.When used this way,it functions sort of like a letter of guarantee.

The format is not in uniform.You need only to entitle the letter,“beneficial certification”,and start the main body with “We hereby certify that…”,followed by what the customer requires ,and end it with a signature and a stamp.Figure 13-17 is a sample beneficiary certification.
