7.7 Cable Selection and Installation
7.7.1 Flame-retardant cable should be used as the power cables. For high voltage power cables, the cables with flame-retardant cross-linked polyethylene insulation should be used.At places prone to mechanical damages, the flame-retardant armored cable shall be adopted.
7.7.2 Copper-core all-plastic flame-retardant cables shall be used as the control cables. If it is required to resist electromagnetic interference, shielded flame-retardant cables shall be adopted.
7.7.3 Power cables and control cables should be laid separately. If they are laid on the same side or on the same cable bracket(bridge),the control cable should be laid under the power cable.(https://www.daowen.com)
7.7.4 The embedding depth of embedded cables should not be less than 700mm.If the thickness of frozen soil is greater than 700mm,measures shall be taken to prevent the cable from being damaged.
7.7.5 Nonflammable materials shall be used to plug the upper and lower ends of the cable shaft and holes where the cable passes through walls, cabinets or floors.
