13.2　Soil and Water Conservation

13.2.1　The current status of soil erosion at the project site and the information about its preventive treatment history shall be collected so as to identify the standard and target of preventive treatment.

13.2.2　The analysis and assessment on soil and water conservation shall be made according to the design of main works.If the requirement for soil and water conservation cannot be met，the request for adjustment or improvement of the design shall be proposed or the conservation measures shall be supplemented and designed.

13.2.3　The extent of responsibility for prevention and treatment of soil erosion shall be defined，and the potential hazard of soil erosion arising from the project shall be predicted and analyzed，and then the important zones and durations of prevention，treatment and monitoring be identified.(https://www.daowen.com)

13.2.4　According to the report（table）of soil and water conservation program and the comment in its approvals，which need to be rechecked if necessary，the zoned prevention and treatment measures and the design standard for the soil and water conservation works shall be finalized，and then the engineering measures，vegetation measures and temporary preventive measures for soil and water conservation are proposed respectively，with the quantity of soil and water conservation works calculated，and the construction plans and schedule formulated accordingly.

13.2.5　The design for monitoring of soil and water conservation shall be made，in which the monitoring durations，contents，points and positions，methods，facilities，frequencies and work quantities are determined.

13.2.6　The investment estimate of soil and water conservation and the relevant investment by items shall be proposed.The annual investment plan shall be compiled according to the schedule of soil erosion prevention and treatment.
