5.1　Introduction

This chapter mainly focuses on how translators construct image-G in target text.There are generally four categories of correlations between the constructed image-G in TT and the original one in ST:complete correspondence,inclusive correspondence,crossed correspondence and disrelation,among which,the first one is ideal type and the rest are non-ideal types of image-G actualization.From Section 5.2 to Section 5.5,with the analysis of different matching types of image-G construction manifested in Xu Yuanchong's translation of classical Chinese poetry,we will make in-depth analysis on these four categories.However,our major focus is laid on translators'practical translation operation,on which basis the present study draws the conclusions contributing to the supplement means for each category in image-G construction.(https://www.daowen.com)
