In the vast world, Pu’er tea, as the treasure of Chinese traditional culture, has gradually evolved into a part of our emotional expression.After the precipitation of time, it shows people its unique mellow and strong quality, attracting more and more people to drink and like it.With people paying more and more attention to healthy life, the benefits of Pu’er tea to both health and spirit is well known and recognized by more and more people.Nowadays, Pu’er tea has been sought after and favored under the great mass fervor at home and abroad, but the public are lack of knowledge and understanding of Pu’er tea.Its spread in the world is limited.In order to spread Pu’er tea all over the world and bring blessings to the public, the International College and Tea College of Yunnan Agricultural University (China-ASEAN Education and Training Center)has jointly compiled a book Green and Comprehensive Health—Pu’er Tea in Yunnan, China.The Book has got significant guidance and assistance from the academic team of Counselor Wang Minzheng of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province.The Book is finally published in bilingual form in English and Chinese, aiming at conveying the charm of Pu’er tea to people, integrating Pu’er tea into the Belt and Road Initiative and making the world fall in love with Pu’er tea.
The International College of Yunnan Agricultural University (China-ASEAN Education and Training Center)is a national education and training base for foreign countries (mainly ASEAN countries)that is approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education in July 2012 to implement the proposal of“China is willing to set up vocational education and training centers to provide human resources required for the economic and social development of ASEAN countries”put forward by then Premier Wen Jiabao.It is a national education and training center for ASEAN and an education and training base specialized in training talents in agricultural related fields.The Center has the functions of international cultural publicity, agricultural technical training and technology transfer.The Center has successfully held 40 international training courses sponsored by China-ASEAN Cooperation Fund Project, Special Fund Project for Asian Regional Cooperation, held by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Commerce, China Foundation for Peace and Development, Yunnan Province Science and Technology Department, and Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, etc., trained more than 800 trainees for Southeast Asian and South Asian countries, and organized more than 200 cultural exchange activities between China and foreign countries.Liu Yan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, has led a team and been engaged in the research of industry policy of green and comprehensive health, Pu’er tea culture, innovation of science and technology system, decision-making consultation of local governments, etc.for a long time, and has published many monographs and theses on agriculture in China-ASEAN region.This Book is published to promote Pu’er tea in Yunnan, China to the world, and thus spread Chinese culture and agricultural science and technology through Pu’er tea.

The studio team of Zhou Hongjie, a famous teacher of Yunnan Agricultural University,has conducted in-depth and systematic research on Pu’er tea for decades, and has successively completed more than 20 research (subject)projects related to Pu’er tea, such as National Fund,National Support Program, Yunnan Natural Science Fund, Kunming Key Science and Technology Innovation Project, conducted in-depth research and industrial services in producing areas, markets and enterprises of Pu’er tea, published more than 20 books of research achievements such as Pu’er Tea of Yunnan and Processing Technology of Pu’er Tea.
