熟悉场景
家庭生活场景的对话主要是围绕着与家庭成员相关的活动展开的对话，在博士研究生入学考试中涉及购车场景、居室布置场景、搬家场景、送礼物场景等。
（1）购车场景
场景人物：家庭成员、朋友、导购员等。
场景涉及内容：打算购买新车的型号或品牌、如何办理购车手续、买回的新车怎么样等。
场景词汇：new car，nice compacts，mid-size cars，mini-vans，SUVs，fit family等。
（2）居室布置场景
场景人物：妻子、丈夫、孩子等。
场景涉及内容：装修房子、重新布置家里的家具、更换窗帘、到家具店购买新家具等。
场景词汇：furniture store，coffee table，rocking chair，air-conditioning等。
（3）搬家场景
场景人物：家庭成员、朋友等。
场景涉及内容：新住所的地点、基本情况，搬家的原因等。
场景词汇：decoration，mortgage，chimney，front door bell，real estate，step等。
（4）送礼物场景
场景人物：朋友、家人等。
场景词汇：gift，present，souvenir，give，send，Christmas，Thanksgiving等。
答题技巧
（1）熟悉家庭生活场景词汇。家庭生活场景涉及多个方面，场景词汇多，考生平时应注意积累家庭生活场景高频词汇。
（2）分析选项，判断场景。对话是一个相互联系的整体，听对话前，考生要浏览选项，了解一定的信息，并预测话题及内容。根据选项的关键词判断对话场景是否为家庭生活场景。
（3）注意对话中的信息。在听对话的过程中，注意对话的人物、时间、地点（尤其是多个易混的地点及相应的信息）、语音语调、上下文之间的联系等，同时还要排除干扰，适当地做一些记录，以增强记忆。弄清对话大意，看清问题，即可选出正确答案。
（4）注意谈话环境。考生重点听主要信息，不要试图听清每一个词。短对话听力题目测试考生对于对话主要内容的全面把握，而不是像听写一样，去听清每一个词。
