1.2　0bjectives of the Study

Up to now，most of the corpus-based study is about literary works.Few use corpora to analyze the tourism texts translation systematically.This study firstly attempts to unveil the specificity of the general features of translated tourism texts regardless of the contrastive differences existing between two languages：Chinese and English.Iwill quantitatively and qualitatively interpret the empirical results derived from the corpus-based analysis on the lexical，syntactic and textual levels.

Then the study carries out translation evaluation with“Functional-Pragmatic Model”which provides the com parison of an original and its translation on three different levels：The levels of Language／Text，Register（Field，Mode and Tenor）and Genre（House 2001）.Register captures features on the linguistic surface and genre captures the connection between texts and“macrocontext”.(https://www.daowen.com)

Based on the former analysis and com parison，I summarize some translational norms for the tourism texts translation which will be helpful for practice and meaningful for pedagogy.
