Apparently adjectives are overused in TETT than OETT（5868＆5388，LL 20.08）.Observing the collocation in Antconc，we can find the pattern“adj.＋and＋adj.”is salient in TETT.That means coordinate adjectives are rather common in TETT.The pattern“adj.＋and＋adj.”counts up to 153 times in TETT，but only 80 times in OETT.

However，OETT seldom uses the descriptive pattern of coordinate ad jectives.What'smore，most adjectives focus on information，such as British and American，largest and best-equipped，American and Bridal，easiest and cheapest，modern and contemporary.
The descriptive pattern of coordinate adjectives illustrates different priorities—OETT gives emphasis to information but TETT draws attention to description.
