◎Base Palace of Jingzhi Temple Pagoda

The Base Palace of Jingzhi Temple Pagoda was built thousands of years ago.Located in Caochang Lane,Xinwei Street,downtown area of Dingzhou City,it is used to bury the Buddhist relics secretly collected in waste pagodas since the Northern Wei Dynasty.

There are colored murals on the walls.These murals are colorful,exquisitely designed and painted with smooth lines,featuring a strong stereoscopic impression,vivid characters with realistic expressions,profound artistic appeal and high painting skills.The structure and murals are the best-preserved relics of the Tang Dynasty in China,which are of great significance to the study of Buddhist history and art history.
