(1)According to the structure of the work arm,the aerial devices with insulating booms can be divided into folding arm type,straight arm type,multi-joint arm type,vertical lifting type and hybrid type.The most commonly used are straight arm type and folding type,as shown in Fig.4-2.
(2)According to the lifting height,the aerial devices with insulating booms can be divided into 6m,8m,10m,12m,16m,20m,25m,30m,35m,40m,50m,60m,and 70m devices,etc.
(3)According to the operating line voltage class,the aerial devices with insulating booms can be divided into 10kV,35kV,46kV,63(66)kV,110kV,220kV,330kV,345kV,500kV,and 765kV devices,etc.China's aerial devices with insulating booms are typically used on 10kV,35kV and 66kV lines.(https://www.daowen.com)
