Hailan Paulsen (correspondent author)is lecturer in the School of Languages，Literatures，Cultures and Linguistics at Monash University，Australia.She has long time teaching experiences both in Nanjing and Melbourne.Hailan’s research interests and publications cover the areas of second language acquisition，teaching of interpreting and translation skills.Presently，she is concentrating on the study of self-efficacy in interpreting education in a multimedia-based learning environment.Hailan is a NAATI certified and practising professional interpreter and translator for English and Chinese language.Email:hailan.paulsen@monash.edu

Dr Zhichang Xu is Senior Lecturer in the School of Languages，Literatures，Cultures and Linguistics at Monash University，and Associate Editor for English Today.He has teaching experiences in Beijing，Perth，Hong Kong，and Melbourne.He has a disciplinary background in applied linguistics and intercultural education，and his research areas include world Englishes，applied linguistics，cultural linguistics，English as a lingua franca，intercultural communication，language education，and translation studies.

Dr.Hui Huang is Senior Lecturer in the School of Languages，Literatures，Cultures and Linguistics at Monash University，Australia.Her research interests and publications cover the areas of second language acquisition and sociolinguistics，particularly the teaching of Chinese as a second/heritage language， ICT in language teaching， cross-cultural communication and immigrant identity.
