In order to investigate the properties of cordycepin molecularly imprinted polymer for solid phase extraction,a sample of Cordyceps militaris extract obtained by ultrasonic wave-assisted extraction with ethanol was added. This sample contained cordycepin and its structural analogs(adenosine)and of course coexisting unknown components.Chromatograms of the extract and the permeate are shown in Figure 8,and the adsorption for cordycepin is shown. The peak at a retention time of 12.2min was cordycepin, and that at 9.8min was adenosine. The peak area of cordycepin in the extract declined significantly after treatment by the column, but the peak area of adenosine remained unchanged. These result show that cordycepin was adsorbed selectively by the molecularly imprinted polymer solid phase extraction column.
