A cheque normally involves three parties:

Drawer:the party who issues a cheque.If used for international trade,the drawer of a cheque is normally the importer.

Drawee:the bank on whom the cheque is drawn.It is normally the importer’s bank.

Payee:the party to whom a cheque is stated to be payable.If used for international trade the payee is normally the exporter.
