The indispensable items for a cheque include:
♦the word “cheque”or “check”,
♦an unconditional order in writing,
♦name and place of the paying bank,
♦drawer’s signature,
♦place and date of issue,
♦the word “at sight”,
♦a certain sum of money in words and figures,and
♦name of the payee or his/her order.
