6.6　Hydraulic Monitoring System

6.6.1　The hydraulic monitoring system shall meet the requirements for safe and economic operation and automatic control of hydraulic turbine-generator units.(https://www.daowen.com)

6.6.2　The regular monitoring items of the hydropower station should include upstream and downstream water levels，water level of surge chamber，water head of the hydropower station，pressure on the entrance of spiral case，pressure on head cover，pressure on the inlet and outlet of draft tube，pressure difference between the front and the rear of trash racks，and pressure of the cooling water of the units，etc.Optional monitoring items may also be considered for the hydropower station，such as reservoir water temperature，temperature of units cooling water，unit flow volume，pressure fluctuation of turbines，unit efficiency，unit vibration，swing of the units，and draft tube pressure（vacuum），etc.
