3.1　Introduction

This chapter deals with theoretical framework.Section 3.2 examines embodiment and experiential basis of image-G.It starts with a description of the embodied view of experientialism and then its three kinds of experiential nature are illustrated.Section 3.3 examines construal of image-G,which includes construal theory of image-G,five construal principles of image-G recognition and four construal dimensions of image-G.Section 3.4 presents image-G construal mode and proposes its three experiential characteristics.Most importantly,in Section 3.5,we make an attempt to establish a theoretical framework for the present study of a cognitive approach to translation strategies of image-G actualization in literary translation.(https://www.daowen.com)
