Couplets on Ode to Pu’er Tea
Pu’er tea boasts intense aroma and has the function of dispelling the effect of alcohol;
Compose famous tea scriptures and get rid of concerns and worries.
Mr.Yuan Langhua, supplement editor of Dali Daily in Yunnan, wrote the couplets“Couplets on Ode to Pu’er Tea”, which describes the function of drinking Pu’er tea to dispel worries, sober up and get stimulated in writing poems.
Thirty Pairs of Couplets in the Hometown of Pu’er Tea
First, couplets on Lancang Bangwei transitional ancient tea trees:
The ancient tea trees, firstly wild and then cultivated, are the king tea after a thousand year’s transition, and they are living fossils in Bangwei, Lancang.
Second, couplets on ancient tea trees in Qianjiazhai, Zhenyuan:
2,700 years’old tea trees grow luxuriantly in Ailao Mountain, which is the natural heritage on the earth and rare in the world;
Over 1,000 tea tree communities grow as living fossils in the origin of tea trees, which is amazed by experts in this field.
上述二联写了过渡型、野生型茶树的特性。
其三，顶针格题思茅茶都联：
普洱贡茶香，香飘四海，海外宾客常来，来城乡考察研究，究其古今茶贸集散盛地；
思茅新港美，美串群邦，邦中友商互往，往水路营销拓开，开此东亚港航交流春天。

洞庭君眉、安徽六合、杭州龙井、福建武夷、江西乌夔，昔推名品洞庭浒；
普洱春茗、昆明十里、景谷白毫、临沧大叶、顺宁香片，今慕贡茶普洱陬。

美国纽约四海诗社顾问、云南著名楹联家埂石先生撰《题赞普洱茶楹联》二副，此联巧妙地道出了普洱茶在人们精神生活中所起的助兴联谊作用。
The two pairs of couplets describe characteristics of transitional and wild tea trees.
Third, couplets on Simao tea:
Pu’er tea as tributes is well-known around the globe, and overseas guests come all the way to study the origin of ancient Tea Horse Road and trading markets;
Simao new port links different countries in East Asia for trading, and Pu’er tea sell well in these countries.

“Couplets on the 1st China Pu’er Tea Festival”
Among Junmei tea in Dongting, Liuhe tea in Anhui, Longjing tea in Hangzhou, Wuyi tea in Fujian and Wukui tea in Jiangxi, Dongting Junmei tea was the best in the past;
Among Pu’er tea in Pu’er, Shili tea in Kunming, Baihao tea in Jinggu, Daye tea in Lincang and Xiangpian tea in Shunning, the tribute Pu’er tea is the top.
